Kendal & Nathan first met in the Austin autumn of 2012, on a Sunday. Kendal liked Nathan's glasses. Nathan liked Kendal's hair. Both were happy to discover how stupidly-funny and yet not-stupid the other person was. On their first date, they baked pies & talked about books, veganism, and spirit animals. On their third date, they went to NASA and it was awesome.

After a few months of dating, Kendal & Nathan separated, but remained friends over the following years. Both experienced a few major events in their lives independent of one another, and over time, their friendship deepened as they settled more & more into the comfort of who they truly were as people. Kendal & Nathan began anew in the winter of 2015. They both admitted that they'd missed each other the entire time they were apart.

Kendal proposed to Nathan the following year #feminism. Not to be outdone, Nathan proposed to her two weeks later. (Turns out, they'd both been planning proposals for a few weeks.) They moved to London with their (editor's note: this term is used extremely loosly here) cat, Dinosaur, this past summer, and intend on traveling the world together & never being apart again.
